Jayda irizarry, LCSW, PMH-C

Right now, you may be viewing therapy as daunting, exciting, or something new. Regardless of where you are, it is my commitment to meet you there, free of judgments and ready to work together. Life’s transitions, journeys, and unexpected changes comes with many successes and challenges. I will work hand in hand with you to create a safe, healing and empowering space.

I incorporate evidence-based practices to help you develop effective coping strategies, enhance self-awareness, and cultivate resilience. Together, we will work towards self-acceptance, healthier relationships, and find meaning and fulfillment in your life. It is my passion to stand with you in this difficult and beautifully chaotic journey we call life.

In my free time, you’ll most likely find me relaxing with my goldendoodle, Violet. I love trying new restaurants, catching sunsets, and traveling to discover fresh views and cuisine. I also enjoy staying up to date on the latest trends in therapy, fashion, and pop culture. Simple pleasures bring me the most joy, whether it’s savoring a sweet treat, sharing laughter with loved ones, or admiring a bouquet of hydrangeas.

  • Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Self-Compassion

JUlia Ross, LCSW, PMH-C

When my clients walk into the room, I want them to feel validated, safe, and empowered to explore their challenges. Therapy is based on trust, authenticity and relationship building. I take this part of the process seriously and do my best to include my clients' interests, passions, and preferences within their treatment plan. Often, I find that this helps generate motivation for change and makes therapy feel more personalized to your needs. I hope to provide a creative and warm space for you to focus on your best self.

As a therapist, I love to incorporate my authentic self in the therapeutic space by using humor, playing my favorite board games with my younger clients, and connecting with my adolescent clients over shared music interests. My hope is to build a genuine connection and be a supportive presence during your mental health journey.

Although I am originally from Connecticut, I love all the Triangle Area has to offer. On my days off and weekends, you would find me exploring the local farmers markets, hiking at Falls of Neuse or Eno River, and trying new coffee shops. When I am not out and about, I am tending to my vegetable garden at home and playing with my sweet cat, Beau, or crazy puppy, Ava.

Areas of Focus:

  • ADHD & ASD
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Executive Functioning Support
  • Life Transitions
  • Perinatal Mood Disorders & Fertility Issues

Beth Pearson, LCSWA

Hi! I'm Beth (she/they), a doctoral candidate and associate-level licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals (Ages 14+) find balance, fulfillment, and personal growth in their lives. I strive to create an authentic space with my clients from a social justice-oriented, intersectional approach based on mutual respect and open communication. Outside of my therapy practice I am working on my PhD in Higher Education at the University of Denver and serve as an adjunct professor in the Social Work Department at Keuka College. Whether you're seeking support during a difficult time or looking to make positive changes, I am here to guide and support you on your journey. Let's work together to achieve your goals and improve your overall well-being.

Born and raised in Delaware, I've spent several years in Pennsylvania and Colorado but have been frequenting the Triangle area for over 20 years. I enjoy spending my free time outside when possible, including swimming, hiking and camping with my pup, Bailey! Additionally, I fill my cup by connecting with the local queer community through art, music, and events.

Eden Amis, LCSW

As a therapist, I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected. My approach is rooted in authenticity, warmth, and validation. I believe healing begins when we feel safe enough to show up as our full selves. I also believe in the power of humor to make the therapeutic process feel more human, approachable, and even enjoyable. While I’ve worked with individuals across the lifespan, I have a particular passion for supporting pre-teens and teens, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those looking to build healthier boundaries and communicate their needs with greater clarity and confidence. Communication is one of my favorite things to explore in therapy and I love helping clients find and strengthen their voice

I take a strengths-based, person-centered approach to help clients develop resilience, self-compassion, and self-advocacy. I offer down-to-earth, accessible education about the mind-body connection to support real, lasting change. Whether you're new to therapy or returning to it, I’ll meet you exactly where you are with openness, curiosity, and zero judgment.

Originally from Seattle, Washington, I moved to North Carolina nearly eight years ago to pursue my degrees and to soak up the sunshine! Outside of therapy, I enjoy a wide range of creative hobbies, including competitive dance, art projects, and fostering kittens (you’ll likely meet one or two in our sessions!). I’m also a proud nerd who loves pop culture and diving into the latest video games.

Ashley Pender, LMhca

Life can feel heavy, uncertain, or just plain chaotic, and you may be feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to go next. If you're reading this, I'm glad you're here. Taking time to look for support is a meaningful first step. Therapy can be a place to build tools you trust and a deeper belief in yourself, at a pace that feels right for you. Everyone has a different story, and yours deserves to be heard. In our time together, I'll tailor our work to your needs, drawing on evidence-based approaches and explaining each step along the way.

I support clients across the lifespan, from children (8+) to older adults (65+), for younger clients, I welcome and encourage parents and caregivers to be an active part of the process. I welcome all genders, orientations, ethnicity, and religions with compassionate, affirming care. Nothing is too much here. Bring your whole story, including the parts that feel hard to say out loud.

I was born and raised in North Carolina and moved to the Raleigh/Durham area in 2020. When I'm not in session, you'll most likely find me snuggled on the couch with my one-year-old Basset hound and catching up on my favorite shows. I love reading cheesy romance novels, crafting, creating zentangles and baking. In my house we are avid soccer (futbol) fans, and I've even had the chance to visit Camp Nou (FC Barcelona) and Atlético de Madrid in Spain back in 2023.

Areas of Focus:

  • Anxiety
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • ADHD
