When my clients walk into the room, I want them to feel validated, safe, and empowered to explore their challenges. Therapy is based on trust, authenticity and relationship building. I take this part of the process seriously and do my best to include my clients' interests, passions, and preferences within their treatment plan. Often, I find that this helps generate motivation for change and makes therapy feel more personalized to your needs. I hope to provide a creative and warm space for you to focus on your best self. Typically, I serve clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, life-changes, neurodivergence, attachment or trauma, and perinatal issues. Generally, the age range of clients I see includes children (ages 5 and up), teens, and young adults (18-35 YO). Whether it is life changes, trauma, family conflict, school difficulty or just a rough day, I hope that I can provide you with the tools to heal. If you feel like I might be a good fit for you, please reach out for more information on how I can support you during this difficult time.
Although I am originally from Connecticut, I love all the Triangle Area has to offer. On my days off and weekends, you would find me exploring the local farmers markets, hiking at Falls of Neuse or Eno River, and trying new coffee shops. When I am not out and about, I am tending to my vegetable garden at home and playing with my sweet cat, Beau, or crazy puppy, Ava (please feel free to ask for a picture of them because I love to show them off!). As a therapist, I love to incorporate my authentic self in the therapeutic space by using humor, playing my favorite board games with my younger clients, and connecting with my adolescent clients over shared music interests. My hope is to build a genuine connection and be a supportive presence during your mental health journey.
